What is the GM Employee Discount Price?
The GM Employee Discount is the discount offered by GM to its employees. It offers the biggest base discount available from GM on eligible, new vehicles. If you want to shop before going to the dealer, you can build a vehicle to your exact specifications and compare the MSRP and the Employee Discount Price. At the dealership, you can ask to see the vehicle invoice which includes the “EMPLOY” price in the right-hand column.
Which GM vehicles are eligible?
Almost every new and unused 2020, 2019 and 2018 GM passenger car, SUV, crossover and light-duty truck is eligible. To see a list of eligible vehicles, check out Vehicle Eligibility on the home page. Some other models may have limited availability. Eligibility of GM vehicles may change at any time without notice.
Can I combine this discount with most current offers?

How many eligible, new vehicles may I purchase or lease with the GM Employee Discount?
You may purchase or lease one (1) vehicle under this program.
Can I use the GM Employee Discount without obtaining an authorization number?
No, you must obtain an authorization number and take it to your participating GM Dealer to receive the discount.
What will I need at the dealership to use my Supplier of the Year GM Employee Discount?
You will need your GM Employee Discount authorization number, your driver's license and a copy of your company ID/badge or a copy of a current pay stub. Pay stub must be dated within last 30 days. All information must be redacted except the date, purchaser’s name and company name.
Can I share my GM Employee Discount with family or friends?
You can transfer the GM Employee Discount to members of your household (same address) only. You cannot transfer it to other family members or friends.
Can I combine my GM Employee Discount with my GM Card Earnings?
You can combine this discount with the GM Extended Family Card or the BuyPower Business Card™. You cannot use it with the GM Card, BuyPower Card® or the GM Flexible Earnings Card.
I recently purchased a new GM vehicle. Can I use this discount on a prior purchase?
No, the discount cannot be applied to a prior purchase.
Is every GM Dealer required to accept the GM Employee Discount?
Dealers are not required to participate. If the dealer you visit is not willing to sell you a vehicle with the GM Employee Discount, you may visit another GM Dealer.
